Milty Zerostat 3 Anti-Static Gun removes static electricity from the surface of any LP, perfect for record cleaning. This device is an anti-static generator which has numerous applications, but for audiophiles, the main use is to remove the static charge on the surface of a record. A slow squeeze of the Zerostat “trigger” releases a steady stream of ions, which removes the built-up static charge on the surface of an LP instantly. The E2 cartridge, the middle in the range, features the same spherical stylus profile as the E1 but with the additional benefit of an upgraded aluminium cantilever. This is both stiff and light weight allowing the stylus to more accurately trace medium to high frequencies offering more detail and reducing distortion and mis-tracking during loud passages.
The 1022GX cartridge is recommended for the discerning listener as it uses a vital-shank, nude, diamond stylus. This polyhedral, line-contact diamond profile was chosen because it has a very low tip-mass and a large contact area whilst being very narrow from front to back, even enabling the undistorted retrieval of ultrasonic frequencies in a recording. A large contact area means that stylus and record wear are reduced and because it plays lower down in the groove than spherical types, older records may well gain a new lease of life.
