This introductory level phono stage is designed specifically to amplify your moving magnet or moving coil cartridge output to line level. The form factor of the unit is small and subtle, so it can be placed near the turntable/amp without being intrusive.
You will receive a top quality turntable headshell that is ready to plug into most S-shaped or straight tonearms. You can be up and spinning in moments. If you have an empty round socket at the end of your tonearm this headshell will fit. It will just plug right into the round tonearm socket as you rotate the locking collar. The AT607a liquid stylus cleaner removes dirt and dust from the stylus tip for improved performance and extended stylus life. Bottle contains 0.33 fl. oz (10 ml) of quick-drying cleaning fluid. Applicator brush is conveniently attached to the underside of the cap.

The Audio-Technica Consumer AT-VM95SH Dual Moving Magnet Cartridge features a special coil design, which delivers a powerful output level with high channel separation and low distortion for remarkable tonal quality. The cartridge can be mounted to a standard 1/2″ mount and features integrated threaded inserts, allowing it to be mounted with just two screws (no nuts required).
The Shibata stylus has two radii, similar to an elliptical stylus, but longer and more narrow. This allows for more surface contact and effective pickup of ultra-high frequencies with less groove stress or distortion. All VM95 Series share the same body, allowing the stylus to be replaced with any of the six interchangeable AT-VMN95 replacement styli. The Audio-Technica Consumer AT-VM95SH ships with mounting hardware and a non-magnetic screwdriver.
This hand-built cartridge features an elliptical stylus; its shape enables it to more accurately trace the highest frequency record grooves giving it the advantage over ordinary spherical types. The lightweight shank also gives the stylus a lower tip mass than cheaper metal bonded types lending the cartridge an improved transient response.
