The Spin-Clean Record Washer Mark II’s real effectiveness comes from its ability to impeccably clean both sides of any record simultaneously without using your turntable as part of the process. Our secret weapon, however, is Spin-Clean Record Washer MKII’s special washer fluid. This special formula encapsulates the dirt that comes off the record from deep within the record grooves and sinks it to the bottom of the washer basin, so it is not re-deposited back on to your valuable LPs and 45s. Why is Spin-Clean bright yellow? We chose bright yellow for the color of the Spin-Clean so you can see the dirt collecting at the bottom of the unit. At the instant of contact how can you tell that you’re pushing hard enough? If you have enough liquid on your brush, is it removing smudges and fingerprints? With the Spin-Clean Record Washer MKII, it’s easy as one, two, three. Fill it, spin it, and dry it! You never have to adjust the brushes (they’re pre-set at the right pressure). After three turns in the Spin-Clean record washing system, the dirt and the fingerprints are gone on both sides of the record along with the static. The VM540ML MicroLine® stylus cartridge is the premier 500 Series model in Audio-Technica’s new VM cartridge line – a line that harks back to A-T’s early days as a manufacturer primarily of high-end phono cartridges, while also incorporating today’s advanced technology. Like all VM cartridges, the VM540ML is equipped with dual magnets that are positioned to match the left and right channels in the stereo record groove for outstanding channel separation and extended frequency response. The cartridge’s MicroLine® stylus allows it to trace the record groove with incredible accuracy, resulting in nuanced audio reproduction that elliptical and conical styli simply can’t match. The stylus’s multilevel shape also wears better than other styli, while reducing the wear on your records.

This VM95 Series cartridge with 3.0 mil conical stylus fits half-inch mount turntables. While this cartridge is designed to play 78 RPM mono records, it is, nevertheless, a stereo cartridge, allowing users to choose between the left and right channels, which can be especially helpful in archiving applications to minimize noise and distortion. The durable, low-resonance housing includes threaded inserts that enable the cartridge to be mounted to the headshell with just two screws – no nuts required. And since all VM95 Series share the same body, the stylus can be replaced with any of the six interchangeable AT-VMN95 replacement styli.
